So, anyone else “practicing their social distancing”? Ugh. Not sure why, but those words just irritate me. Maybe because it’s what everyone keeps saying and using? I’ve always liked uniqueness in people.
Anyways, like most people right now, I’ve been stressin’ a whole lot. My hours have been cut back at work, bills will be due soon, and my savings are getting drained. I picked a wonderful time to leave my job to create my own business and buy a new car, huh?!
I never thought I could avoid people anymore than I already was, but here we are! I wanted to do something for myself to help me relax, but I only have so many products at home and I’ve been trying to avoid going to the store (even though I just went this morning). There were a surprising number of people out and about. Could have been because I went at a “prime time” since I don’t work on Fridays anymore.
Since this was a last minute decision to help myself relax, I had to use the products I had on hand. Although I do have everything I need, it would have been nice to bulk order some of the items to help save on money and I used up some of my tea bags. I LOVE tea and drink 1-3 cups of it daily. I especially love my matcha tea. I usually buy whatever the local health food store has, so sometimes I have different brands to drink/use for my everyday use.
Okay, time to stop rambling. I hate when blog posts just drag on and on. Hate it less since I’ve started writing my own posts. I’ve begun to understand how easy it is to just keep writing, just keep writing, just keep writing….ah how I love Disney movies.
Recipe:
(Don’t forget I used what I had on hand)
- One matcha tea bag
- One green tea bag
- 1 tablespoon Sweet Almond Oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
I tried to upload a picture of the products I used, but seem to be having an issue doing so. Maybe I can try at a later time after I post this.
I also sometimes prefer to use scrubs in the shower. I like to wait a few minutes to make sure my pores get a chance to open up. I scrub a dub dub and let it sit on my face for a few minutes then wash it off. Obviously you don’t have to use this just in the shower, I just sometimes prefer it.
If you’re trying to reduce stress like I am, then I recommend also using my Lavender Foot Soak. Hello heaven!
Enjoy!
