Yep, you read that right. We’re talking about a detox for your pits. Now I realize how absurd that sounds, but people swear by it. If you’re anything like me, which I’m sure you are since you’re here reading my blog, going natural seems to be the thing to do nowadays.
Now lets get down to business. As I’m sure you’ve learn from previous posts, I have sensitive skin. So this recipe is sensitive skin approved! I’ve listed the ingredients below and everything else you’ll need to make this detox. This does make quite a bit, so if you don’t plan on using this much you can always cut the recipe in half.

- 1 Tablespoon bentonite clay
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon water (optional)
- small glass bowl
- plastic or wooden spoon/spatula
Directions:
Mix bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar in a small glass bowl using a plastic or wooden utensil. Using a metal utensil will affect the properties of the bentonite clay. I find using a small spatula makes it easier to apply the detox mixture.
I recommend only leaving the mixture on for about 5 minutes if this is your first time doing this detox. You may need to do this a few times before you finally get the toxins out, but I wouldn’t do it two days in a row. I’ve gone a few weeks in between doing it and that seemed to be a little too long to wait.
If for some reason you start to feel a burning or itching feeling please wipe the detox off right away. You can use a clean damp rag to clean it off, but honestly hopping in the shower seems to be the easiest way to clean it. If you feel like it’s not working you can always comb the internet for other armpit detox recipes. If I find one I like more I’ll be sure to post about it!
